The Bev-Flex® Series 172 is a high-performance, polyester-reinforced polyethylene beverage hose designed for the rigorous demands of commercial soda and draught systems. This 100-foot coil features a dual-layer construction: a high-purity polyethylene core for flavor integrity and a durable, smooth EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) outer cover for enhanced flexibility. Reinforced with white tracer yarn, this tubing offers superior burst pressure resistance compared to standard vinyl lines, making it the ideal choice for high-pressure syrup delivery and long-draw gas manifolds.

Technician’s Note: Bev-Flex 172 is the “gold standard” for syrup lines because the EVA cover allows the tubing to slide easily through bundles and conduits without sticking. Unlike standard PVC, this reinforced poly hose will not “balloon” under the high-pressure surges of a BIB pump. When installing on a 1/4″ barb, ensure you use a 12.3mm Oetiker clamp; if the fit is tight, a quick dip in warm water will soften the EVA jacket enough to seat the barb fully against the shoulder of the fitting.
