Description
This premium 304 stainless steel dual check valve provides redundant backflow protection for high-pressure beverage dispensing and carbonation systems. Featuring 3/8″ Male Flare (MFL) connections on both the inlet and outlet, this inline safety valve is engineered to prevent the migration of CO2, carbonated water, or syrup back into primary water lines or gas regulators. Its dual-chamber design offers a critical secondary fail-safe, ensuring that even if one internal seal is compromised by debris, your equipment remains shielded from contamination and corrosive backflow.
- Inlet Connection: 3/8″ Male Flare (MFL)
- Outlet Connection: 3/8″ Male Flare (MFL)
- Material: Food-grade 304 Stainless Steel Body and Internal Springs
- Valve Type: Redundant Dual Check (Inline Configuration)
- Application: Soda carbonators, water filtration loops, and gas-to-liquid barriers
- Compliance: High-resistance seals for beer, soda, and carbonated water systems
- Pressure Rating: Designed for standard commercial beverage dispensing pressures
Technician’s Note: When installing an MFL-to-MFL dual check valve, always utilize a nylon flare washer (gasket) on both ends to ensure a gas-tight seal. Unlike NPT threads, flare fittings rely on the mechanical crush of the washer rather than thread tape. If you notice a reduction in flow rate over time, check the inlet side for “sugar-lock” or mineral scale; these valves can be cleaned by soaking in a warm, mild alkaline solution, but should be replaced if the internal springs show any signs of fatigue or loss of tension.
