The Gas Dip Tube is a critical replacement component for homebrew Cornelius-style kegs. Specifically designed as a universal fit for AEB, Cornelius, and standard ball lock kegs, this short tube extends from the gas-in post just into the headspace of the keg. Constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, it is 100% flavor-neutral and highly resistant to corrosion from CO2 and cleaning chemicals. Maintenance Tip: Gas dip tubes rarely clog, but the dip tube O-ring (sold separately) is the most frequent source of “mystery” CO2 leaks. When cleaning your keg, always remove the dip tube and inspect the sealing surface. Apply a thin film of food-grade silicone grease (Keg Lube) to the O-ring before re-installing to ensures a perfect 100% airtight seal.
