The Glastender DI-FR Ice Cream Freezer is a self-contained ice cream station designed to be installed into a counter. Its 12 1/2″ x 10-1/8″ x 10-1/8″ stainless steel interior has a 3-gallon capacity and keeps ice cream cold at -5°F to 10°F. This temperature is maintained efficiently with CFC-free foamed-in-place insulation. The stainless steel lid is hinged at the rear and remains open when dipping. The exterior wrap is made from galvanized steel. The ¼ HP cooling unit uses R404a coolant.
Installation of the unit into a counter requires a 14-¾” x 14-¾” cutout and 23” of depth. When installing this unit make sure the location you are installing it into provides at least 5” of clearance on all sides to allow for airflow to the cooling system. The condenser requires airflow of at least 150 CFM to operate properly, so make sure that your planned installation counter meets these requirements. This ice cream freezer uses 120v/60/1-ph and it is recommended that it has its own dedicated 15 amp circuit. The unit comes with a 6-foot NEMA 5-15P cord plug and cord. Mounting hardware including U-channels, mounting bolts and angle brackets are included for easy installation.
