Why a Gooseneck Spout
Standard teapot spouts pour wide and fast – fine for filling a mug at home, lousy for precise rate control. A gooseneck constrains the flow to a thin, controllable stream, which is what specialty coffee baristas need for V60, Chemex, and Kalita bloom and pour, and what tea sommeliers need for filling small gaiwans without splashing. The same control makes it the discreet choice for tableside service.
Mirror Finish + Bakelite Handle
Mirror-polished stainless looks elegant on a tea cart or coffee station and resists fingerprints with regular polishing. Bakelite handle stays cool enough to grip directly after pouring from a freshly-boiled kettle. The 20 oz size pours 2-3 full mugs or 4-5 small Asian tea cups before refilling.
Use and Care
Hand-wash recommended to preserve mirror finish. Bakelite handle is rated for boiling water service but should not be placed directly on a flame burner. For brewing on the stovetop, use a separate kettle and decant.
