This Heavy-Duty Brass Ball Valve is a critical component for gas manifold systems. It features a 1/4″ MPT (Male Pipe Thread) inlet for connecting to the manifold and a 1/4″ MFL (Male Flare) outlet for attaching gas lines. The integrated one-way check valve is a vital safety feature that prevents liquid backflow from entering your gas regulator. The high-quality ball mechanism provides a smooth, positive shut-off for isolating individual keg lines.
Technician’s Note: Use PTFE tape on the 1/4″ MPT threads to ensure a gas-tight seal to the manifold. The 1/4″ MFL side does not require tape; use a standard nylon flare washer inside your swivel nut for a leak-proof connection. Periodically operate the valve to ensure the internal check valve remains free of debris and responsive to pressure changes.
