Description
The McDantim TruReg™ is a high-precision secondary regulator designed for the demanding requirements of commercial draught beer and soda systems. This single-regulator model allows for independent pressure control of a single product line, branching off a primary high-pressure gas source. Engineered for accuracy and stability, the TruReg™ features a 60 PSI gauge and 1/4″ Male Flare (MFL) inlet/outlet ports for easy serviceability. The integrated 3/8″ hose barb shut-off valve provides an immediate point of control, allowing you to isolate the gas supply to the keg without affecting the rest of the manifold.

Technician’s Note: The McDantim TruReg is widely regarded for its “set it and forget it” reliability. Unlike cheaper secondary regulators that fluctuate with temperature changes in a walk-in cooler, the TruReg maintains a highly consistent static pressure. When connecting your 3/8″ gas line to the barb, we recommend using a 15.7mm Oetiker clamp. For the 1/4″ MFL inlet, always use a nylon flare washer to ensure a gas-tight seal—metal-to-metal flare connections without a washer are the leading cause of “mystery” CO2 leaks in commercial cellars.
