The Stainless Steel Flare Fitting is a precision draught component for connecting gas and beverage lines to Male Flare (MFL) ports. It features a 1/4″ Female Flare (FFL) swivel nut and a 5/16″ hose barb. Constructed from high-quality 304 stainless steel, it provides a 100% flavor-neutral path and superior resistance to corrosion compared to standard brass fittings. Ideal for connecting gas lines to ball lock disconnects or manifold blocks where high-purity and long-term durability are required.
Technician’s Note: All flare-to-flare connections require a nylon flare washer (sold separately) to creates a 100% gas-tight seal. The 5/16″ barb is specifically sized for standard 5/16″ ID gas tubing. To ensures a leak-proof seal, use a dedicated tube cutter for a square cut and secure the line with an Oetiker stepless clamp. The stainless steel construction ensures it will never pit or tarnish in moist environments.
