The T&S Brass G016682-45 Spring Assembly is the heart of the retraction system for compact industrial hose reels. Engineered for 35-foot hoses with 1/4″ or 3/8″ diameters, this heavy-duty spring ensures that the hose returns smoothly and securely to its housing after use. The assembly is epoxy coated to provide an extra layer of protection against the humid and corrosive environments of commercial dishrooms and wash bays. Technician’s Note: If your hose is failing to retract fully, or the tension feels inconsistent, the internal spring assembly likely needs replacement. When installing, count your pre-wrap turns carefully as per the manual to set the correct baseline tension. This prevents the spring from over-stretching when the hose is pulled to its maximum 35-foot length.
