The Glastender DI-FR36-DW Ice Cream Freezer with Dipper Well is a drop-in counter mounted unit with a built-in dipper well and faucet. This unit can hold 2 3-gallon ice cream containers next to each other. With its single lid giving access to both tubs at the same time, this unit is perfect for serving 2 different flavors at the same time like a double scoop with chocolate on top and vanilla at the bottom. The 6” diameter dipper well will keep your dippers close at hand and clean as a whistle with the integrated faucet.

The stainless steel interior is 12×1/2” deep,  20-⅛” wide and 10-⅛” from front to back. The cavity is kept at the optimal serving temperature range between -5°F  and 10°F by the ¼ HP self-contained cooling system that uses R404A refrigerant. Cooling is efficient and environmentally friendly with the CFC free foamed-in-place insulation.

The exposed parts including the working surface, lid, dipper well, and faucet are all made from easy to clean stainless steel. The parts beneath the counter including the condensing unit base plate and the exterior wrap are made from galvanized steel.

Installation of the Glastender DI-FR36-DW Ice Cream Freezer with Dipper Well is simplified with the inclusion of the U-channels, mounting bolts and special angle brackets. The unit will sit in a 32-¾” x 14-¾” cut-out in your counter, the unit will hang 23” below the countertop and is 24” wide by 14” front to back. For proper operation, the unit requires 5” of clearance on all sides and at least 150 CFM of airflow.  Make sure the counter you plan to install this unit into meets all of these dimensional requirements.

The faucet is NSF and ANSI 371 compliant and uses ⅜” cold water leads. The dipper well uses a 1-½” I.P.S. threaded drain.

This ice cream freezer uses 120/60/1-ph power and draws 4.75 amps at full load, it’s recommended that the unit has its own dedicated 15 amp circuit.  The unit comes with a 6-foot long power cord with a NEMA 5-15P grounded plug.
