Description
The Lancer Dispensing Wheel Shroud IBD30 is the critical mechanical guide panel responsible for funneling ice from the agitator wheel into the delivery chute. It prevents ice chips and moisture from entering the dispenser frame, protecting the internal motors and wiring from syrup-laden condensation.
Problem Solved: Restores directed ice flow and prevents ‘ice blowout’ mess. Replaces cracked or warped shrouds that cause ice to jam in the chute or allow moisture to drip onto the agitating motor electrical terminals.
Symptoms of Failure: Ice clumping or jamming in the delivery path, visible stress cracks in the plastic housing, or moisture pooling behind the front splash plate.
Technician’s Note: Check the shroud for ’rounding’ at the mounting tabs. If the shroud is loose, the agitator wheel can catch the edge, creating plastic shavings in the customer’s ice. Snap firmly into place and verify clearance before closing the bin.Technical Specifications:
